Script
Hi! My name is Manuela and I am conducting usability testing for an app. Do you have fifteen minutes to participate in a test? Great! Please note that this is a prototype and not a real app. Some of the content may not make sense and it’s not fully functional. There are no right or wrong answers. I am just observing how you interact with the app. I will be giving you three tasks to complete. Please think aloud so that I can understand the choices you are making. Do you mind if I record this conversation? Do you have any questions? Okay, let’s begin.
Tasks:
You just learned about this app and downloaded it. How would you find a coffee shop that has outlets and lots of space?
You are seeing lots of coffee shops that look good! How would you save a coffee shop to view later?
You want to connect with other remote workers nearby. How would you learn more about a specific member and message them?
Test completion rate
I am expecting a test completion rate of 80% per task
I will calculate by using the binary per participant per task
Error Free rate
I am expecting an error rate of 60%. I expect at least two people to make an error on one task.
